Frequently asked questions

How much is the BC heat pump rebate in 2026?

Up to $11,000 for switching from oil or gas in the standard stream, and up to $16,000 through the income-qualified Energy Savings Program stream.

Can I stack CleanBC with the federal oil-to-heat-pump grant?

Only in the standard stream. If you go through the income-qualified stream, you can't also receive OHPA — the programs are designed as one path or the other.
