Free Heat Pump Program (PEI) — closed
This program is CLOSED to new applicants
PEI's famous free-heat-pump program for income-qualified households is CLOSED to new applications, along with PEI's OHPA intake — the budget was fully allocated (intake paused June 2, 2025). The province's official word: many Island households are still in line, and contractors will contact waitlisted applicants as installations progress.

Was co-delivered with federal OHPA funds. Standard PEI heat pump rebates also ended April 15, 2026 — as of mid-2026 there is no open heat pump money on PEI.
