Frequently asked questions
›Do I need the assessment before buying equipment?
Yes — the initial EnerGuide assessment must happen before upgrades, and the final assessment after. Skipping either forfeits the rebate.
›Is the $199 fee ever waived?
Yes, for income-qualified households — and Moderate Income Rebate participants get it reimbursed if prepaid.
Amounts and rules are set by the program administrator and change without notice. Always confirm on the official page before purchasing equipment.
