Efficiency Manitoba's formula-based insulation rebates: from $0.03 per R-value added per square foot in the attic up to $0.15 for exterior wall re-siding projects. Critical rule: you must apply through a registered contractor or retailer and be pre-approved BEFORE buying materials.

Who qualifies
- ✓Homeowner with an active Manitoba Hydro account; year-round primary residence
- ✓Minimum 100 sq ft per insulated area; new materials purchased in Canada, CCMC-verified
- ✓The area cannot have been rebated before
How to apply
- 1Apply through a registered contractor or retailer and get pre-approval BEFORE buying materials
- 2Install within 12 months of approval
- 3The supplier initiates completion; rebate is mailed after verification
Stacking with other programs
Stackable with the Manitoba Hydro Home Energy Efficiency Loan. Income-qualified households can get insulation FREE through the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program or Métis Energy Efficiency Offers.

›What if I already bought the insulation?
Materials purchased before pre-approval are not eligible — the pre-approval-first rule is strict. Efficiency Manitoba also offers a $100-per-unit windows and doors rebate (ENERGY STAR triple-pane) under a separate program.
