- 3A free assessment is scheduled, then upgrades are installed at no cost, followed by a final assessment
Stacking with other programs
This is Nova Scotia’s delivery vehicle for the federal Canada Greener Homes Affordability Program — there is no separate federal application. With OHPA closed, HomeWarming is the income-qualified path to a whole-home heat pump.

If your income fits the HomeWarming limits, apply here: the June 2026 expansion explicitly covers heat pumps. Moderate incomes should look at the Moderate Income Rebate + Home Energy Assessment combination instead.
