SaskEnergy Residential Equipment Replacement Rebate (Saskatchewan)
SaskEnergy's rebates for replacing your primary heating and water-heating equipment: $325 for a 97%+ AFUE furnace, $750 for a boiler, $800 for a combi boiler and $1,000 for high-efficiency water heaters. Note: amounts were reduced on August 17, 2026 — the furnace rebate dropped from $650 to $325 and the 96.0–96.9% AFUE furnace tier was eliminated (97.0%+ is now the minimum).

Who qualifies
- ✓Registered homeowner, landlord or rental company; Saskatchewan property
- ✓Replacement of primary space or water heating only — no new construction
- ✓Installer must hold a valid TSASK gas licence; no self-installs
- ✓Existing equipment must be out of manufacturer warranty
How to apply
- 1Apply online within 120 days of installation
- 2Include the sales invoice (your name, contractor details, unit specifications)
- 3Rebate arrives within ~6 weeks of approval (cheque, e-Transfer or account credit)
Stacking with other programs
Program funding is limited — SaskEnergy reserves the right to cap rebates at any time. Saskatchewan has no provincial heat pump, insulation or solar rebate; income-qualified households should see SaskPower’s Energy Assistance Program.

The SaskEnergy + SaskPower Home Efficiency Retrofit Rebate (up to ~$1,800 for insulation and windows) ended in April 2026. The equipment rebate is what remains.
