Total Home Energy Savings Program (New Brunswick)
NB Power's whole-home retrofit program: an EnerGuide evaluation, then rebates on heat pumps (up to $2,000), insulation (per-square-foot rates), air sealing (up to $550), water heating and more. Upgrades must be completed within 9 months of the initial evaluation. Note: the solar stream closed to new enrollments on May 27, 2026.

Who qualifies
- ✓NB homeowner; an initial Home Energy Evaluation by a Certified Energy Advisor is the required entry point
- ✓Upgrades completed within 9 months of the initial evaluation, then a final evaluation
- ✓Equipment must be on NB Power qualifying lists (or ENERGY STAR where specified)
- ✓Insulation must cover at least 20% of the building component’s area

Stacking with other programs
Households under $70,000 income should use the Enhanced Energy Savings Program (free upgrades) instead. OHPA advance-payment registrations in NB closed June 30, 2026; enrolled participants complete through March 31, 2027.
