Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program (OHPA)The federal grant of up to $10,000 (up to $15,000 in co-delivery provinces) to switch an oil-heated home to a cold-climate electric heat pump is closed: July 31, 2026 was the last day to apply. Approved applicants must complete the work and upload all documents (receipts, contractor attestation) by January 31, 2027. CleanBC Better Homes / Energy Savings Program (BC)British Columbia's home-energy program family. The income-qualified CleanBC Energy Savings Program offers heat pump rebates up to $13,000 for ground-oriented homes (up to $5,000 in condos/apartments) plus heat pump water heaters up to $3,500 and add-on support for ventilation, health & safety and electrical service upgrades.
